PAKISTAN · PASSPORT PHOTO GUIDE
Pakistan passport photo.
Know the requirements.
Check whether you are applying at a passport office or through DGIP online services. The photograph process and upload requirements differ.
Regional offices and Pakistan missions
JPEG / JPG; maximum 3 MB
For the listed online categories
Applying at an office
DGIP’s published process includes photograph capture at the regional passport office or Pakistan mission. A prepared upload does not replace that capture.
Online categories with published specifications
DGIP lists a colour 350 × 467 pixel JPEG/JPG, no larger than 3 MB, for its newborn, damaged, exhausted, lost and listed partial-modification categories. These specifications should not be assumed to cover every renewal route.
Before an online renewal
Use the photo instructions inside your current DGIP application. We could not retrieve the separate online photo-requirements page during this review, so this guide does not claim a universal renewal specification.

A preview is not an approval. Final acceptance is decided by the issuing authority.
Common questions
Do I bring a photo to the passport office?
DGIP’s ordinary office process includes taking your photograph at the counter. Follow any additional instructions for your case.
Is 350 × 467 pixels the rule for all applications?
No. It is the published specification for the online categories identified above.
